The number of objects that surround us, with which we interact daily, is overwhelming. It is estimated that we interact with about 100 different objects. The most common are clothes, furniture, electronic equipment, kitchen tools, vehicles, office objects and many others. We no longer pay attention to them. For us, they have become natural extensions of our reality, our bodies, the way we think. We don’t wonder where they come from, how they were designed or - what material they are made of.

By the trees
It’s best to talk to everyone involved - in this case, people and trees. So we should meet in the city, in the park. Where the two worlds meet. People come between trees, trees between people - they are also visited by animals, fungi and other organisms. And together they can sit at a common table.

About the trees
In a report entitled “State of the World Environment” compiled by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) in 2016, it was stated that. Between 1990 and 2015, the world’s forest area decreased by 3.1%, representing a loss of more than 1.3 million square kilometres of forest. In some regions, such as Latin America, Africa and Asia, these losses are particularly high.

Under the trees....
The table has room for everyone (that’s why it’s so long). It meanders between the trees, inviting them to discuss. The participants see themselves and the environment sees them. Together, or in slightly smaller groups, they can talk, look for solutions. Inspire each other, educate each other. Even if you are not interested, you can join in - just sit down with a coffee for a while and relax in a great environment! The facility becomes a tool, noticeable and present. It tells a story about itself, about its origin, what it was made of and what kind of neighbours it had.
